Grandpa
Work on voice. I know that it may hurt your, but the judges have taken a lot of voice classes and know that growling hurts the throat.
Be more shaky at the end of the play.  Your leg has probably gotten worse – react to the pain.
Abbey & Allison
Great reactions in the beginning.
Lee
Louder and enjoy singing.
Work on believed speech as if each one is just thought of.
I got to go was slurred.
Rose and Moe
Join in with them singing.
EVERYONE
Wear watches.
Richer and richer – be excited. HAPPY in the beginning
Laugh more natural
People noises during all dances
Bar scene – feel your character – make us believe the situation.
Freezes are like unsaid lines – you need to be into it and mean it. When you mean to freeze – commit to it.
Work on accents and particularly consonants – d’s and t’s
Work on people noises – not zombie like monotone grunts.
We need different variations of laughs – they all sound the same.  If you have read this critique – text or comment on the blog on one item.
Stay in the moment – stop visiting.
There should never be a clump in the back of the stage. EVERYONE needs something to do.
Could not hear several scenes because of talking backstage.
Energy and intensity are the keys to this play.  Each scene is dramatically intense or has energy.
Get serious – especially strikers.
Reread Rick Garcia's and Freida's comments again.
Savannah
More time on stage. Good job with Graham.
Tony
We need to see you see the horror of a man falling and breaking every bone in his body. You are painting a picture so that the others can experience and see it.
Savannah and Hannah
Stay in the moment – stop visiting.

  1. I think we really need to be extreamly committed every practice and just put everything into the show if we really want to advance! ~Paige
