Fanny
Remember to help Rose during the bar scene.
Moe and Edie
We need you both to be a lot louder.
Music
Too loud  - the new Ethel Merman song.
Too loud – before Joey’s scene. Cheer Up Nertz
Turn the music up during Funny Face – while Lee and Molly sing.
Robertson
Diction
Soft shoe line
We need to see you going through the Hooverville in the back before you say your line.
EVERYONE
Including crew
·         Watch Clarence and Robertson
·         During Sidney and Doris’s scene and Sidney and Fanny’s scene, we do not need to have anyone  directly behind them.
·         We need people out during the bank closing, Calcutta and Mississippi scenes.
·         Quiet backstage.
·         Scene 5 has the bank closing scene at the beginning – use a green wash with the bank closing.
·         At the end of that scene before Bank’s monologue, have a red light in the barrel, and we need people gathered around it.
·         During Quinn scene and Sidney and Fanny’s, no one is upstage.
·         If you have to cross from right to left or left to right, make sure that you are dressed according to the weather.
·         During “Gee, you’re really terrific at that, Doris”, we need to see people in the back – a yellow wash and a red light in the barrel.
·         Funny Face Dancers, you may have to move furniture if there is anything between you and the audience.
·         Quiet backstage.
·         The Welfare scene was good, but not great. We need to see every single person engaged in what is happening.
We have rehearsal Tuesday and Thursday, next Sunday, next Monday - then contest. Let me know how we can make these rehearsals count. GIVE me suggestions through the blog or text 470-9940.
Sidney
Summer vacation to audience
Lights
Blue wash and blue stage lights during bar scene.
Lee
Before the Funny Face song (you and Rose), whistle it and stop in the circle of light and look right stage. Rose is sitting, so you stand or prop yourself with the foot on the stool.
Rian
The riot line, remember to be downstage of everyone.
Moe
$22.00 louder
Women’s scene & Grandpa
It was lifeless and bad Thursday. Lucille, get up. Fanny, get people nourishment.
Keep up with lines.
Grandpa, stay seated. Let one of the girls come to you. We need to see your age more.

  7. I think we need to work on how hard the depression really hit and connect with the audience because we are in a small recession already...

  8. I think that girls need to run through lines in the womens scene. I agree with the speed though thought. Let's try and stay focused!
