Robertson	Slow down.  Every word in accent. Great Irish soft shoe dancer Work on gestures that seem natural – work in front of mirror.Think about fitting sighs, breaths, hands. You are the one with the statistics, facts, etc.  Be sure to hit those facts. Slow down. Watch Happy Feet DO NOT BACK UP
Moe	Pause before 7711 and Herb. Moe, we need to see you as a father to Lee. Trafalgar Keep accent consistent Mama Bars Remember bar scene Firmly Herb Was Hands out of pockets Won’t let him in – more reluctant I’m employed – more anger
Lee	Need to see you as a son to Moe. To the subway  tobacco Smackin homers – use movement Mark suggested.  It will make you more childlike University – live like a king – emphasize. Dollar Watch movies with NY accents. Your cadence is off in the show and it sounds Italian.
Fanny	Louder.  Lower pitch Take your scenes a little further. Use vocal noises.
Rosman	Stay in accent. Wrong  anyway. louder
Sidney/ Toland	Get to ladder quicker.   Country, should Be louder Used ta – important words.  Hit those.
Grandpa	Better accent. Still a little Irish as grandpa Closet bathroom Slow down Get back in the clock – diction Louder Make grumpy noises as grandpa Hit consonants. Love your old man walk
Irene	Keep voice lower – Catholic Social Employment Starving Accent was great at the beginning. You had a lower pitch.  In the welfare office, you had a higher one. LOVED the talking to people in the welfare office.  Keep building your character. Work on brother speech. Stand up and address everyone with the first two lines.
Quinn	Louder Work on dancing Stay in character. Make each character different through mannerisms.  WORK ON THIS. Watch Happy Feet Slow down on facts when explaining about getting the job. Work on making Quinn and Ryan different. Read the script on your exit as Quinn.  You are responsible to move the black phone from the bar to your “office”
Rose	Doris Don’t cross legs Wake up, Fanny – slow down. Have attitude. Every week Use more people noises.  Be more motherly, etc.
Banks/Clarence	Give Me In bar scene – use more gestures. Roman candles Bank’s scene, move around trying to find a more comfortable position. Need newspapers.  Use gestures.
Doris	Good job dancing Who are you going to take?  Use attitude Better job on accent.  Practice looking at people directly in the eyes.  Do this all the time, not just on stage so that you become more used to it. College My turn goes down.
Graham, Diana	Remember bar scene Louder Don’t rush Don’t turn your back to audience Disheveled and disoriented at the bar. Pad to write on. Shake hands as you leave.
Cody	Good job with music.
Women	Use Mark’s suggestions – more mms, oohs, etc.
Reporter Graham, Robertson, Quinn	More reaction and more surprise. More emotions on the resigning lines.
Dugan and Kapush	Work on making each character different.  Hit consonants.
Fanny and Moe	Step on each others’ lines.
Bar Men	At the bar, don’t block one another. When you toast - drink
Lights	Anticipate where the light needs to be.
Quinn and Robertson	Tip your hats to Ms. Graham as she leaves.
Everyone	No phones on set.  You would not use them during football practice, on the track field, at basketball practice, etc. Consonants – hit them – all letters except aeiou More walk in front. Walk faster DO NOT BACK UP Mob scene at bank. We need to hear you first. See Lee push through the crowd, then freeze. After his last line, murmur. Look at your lines – Mark suggested this.  We were told with each critique last year to focus on lines with numbers, important facts, etc. Watch Happy Feet More reactions in welfare scene. Especially during arguments and reacting to  Toland, the cab driver. At the beginning, don’t clump.  Walk on the gray set. STEP ON LINES. During the Rosman – Robertson scene.  Dancers, step a little SRC and freeze when Robertson and Rosman have their conversation. Two ladders in the Back – USR – love the silhouettes when you guys are working. If you have read this, text me who your best friend is and what you like about him/her. During Lee’s scene on the Mississippi, we need bums sitting DSC Welfare scene needs people noises. Dugan and Irene – fantastic job reacting in Welfare office. Everyone came out too late in the “walk” moving against Robertson.
