Everyone
Dancing was good, but work on timing.  Rehearse during seventh period.
Need stage business.
Rosman – fill out papers for patients – see what kind of folders were used in 1930
Doris – keep doing the cat’s cradle or jacks
Fanny – cookbook
Rose – knitting
Irene –
Ty – play a ukulele
During transitions, more walkers needed backstage.  Carry something – not everyone.  Boxes, etc.
Work on words with r’s between two vowels.  Those are hard r’s.  Listen to the You Tube people again.
Look up greetings for men in the 30’s.
If you have a long monologue, cut it.
Work on the dance in class each day.
MEMORIZE 4-16 by Sunday – NO BOOKS.
Enunciate, show emotions. React
We will have a cell phone box.
Colors for knitting.
We will work on crosses, beginning where we left off –
Page 8, 10, 11, 12, 14
Good walks during crosses –
Grandpa, Doris, Irene, Sidney
Better second time walking.  Don’t walk in the same direction.  Remember that you need to still greet people except for the poor people.  Poor people might clump together and chat looking nervous and scared.
Get familiar with parts.
Great job!
Be ready to work on Thursday at 6:30. We will start with cross transitions and then begin with Page 14 on Thursday. I will insert cuts in the blog.  Be sure to reply to this and check the blog Wednesday for cuts to the script.

Robertson
Work on the accent. Make it consistent. Work on American
Watch happy feet when talking.  Plant your feet.  You still sound a little Texan. Enunciate, show emotions. Work on being louder.  Insert yourself into the character, adjust your shoes, talk to people, walk around for busy work, act shocked.

Rosman
Work on the accent.  End of sentences need to go down. – Sound too Texan. Lower your voice. Change emotions as the scene progresses, take notes, fill out papers, talk on the phone.
Quinn, Joey, Ryan
Work on the accent. Be louder. “American, advisory, get” React.  Show enthusiasm when storytelling. As Joey, work on enunciation.
Irene
Louder and deeper.  Work on accent.  “Social security” Look angry not nervous. Paint can and brush – look up what kind were used. “employment”
Items we need
Bracelet
1930 basketball – patched
Letter
Hat boxes
Greeting for men
Stenographers pad for Miss Graham
Strike signs.
Lee
You sound Italian at times. “going to fix it” sounds Italian.  Don’t look scared. “present”
Grandpa
More NY, not so German/Irish. Sound like a grouchy Leprechaun . Enunciate. Facial expressions needed.
Diana, Miss Graham
Be louder – great accent. Enter with a stride.  Be purposeful.”pardon, think, page” On the Graham character, be consistent with the accent. As Diana, have a thicker Southern accent. Great job being attentive.
Tony, Banks
Work on accent – Taylor was from Iowa.  Banks was from Arkansas. Show emotions.
Rose
You may have to help everyone with their accents. Show more emotions, especially at the beginning – over the top happy. “pawn shop”
Miss Fowler
Too Texan. WORK ON ACCENT and BE LOUDER
Moe
Drink out of a flask before you ask Lee for money.
Bar People
Freeze when appropriate.
